Just in Time for Back To School

Pass It On, Edmond's longest-running "garage sale" featuring kids clothes will be held September 7 from 8 am to 6 pm and September 8 from 8am to 3 pm. This fall/winter consignment sale has grown to include more than 350 consignors and will be held at Church of the Harvest, off Western between 33 & 15th Street. Now Nichols Hills can enjoy Kang's cuisine too

Kang's Asian Bistro has opened a second location at 6600 N Ollie in the Nichols Hills area. They will host a grand opening on Monday, August 13 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and half of the proceeds will go directly to Parents Helping Parents, an Edmond based charity benefiting children. Stop in for some great cuisine and do some good at the same time.

Crossing Church Offers Growing U – Equipping for Life

Classes start August 22 at Crossings Community Church for the entire family. Classes offered include topical classes for adults, "Uprising" for 9th-12th grades, "The Jam" for 7th and 8th grades; "Group 56" for 5th & 6th grades and "Family Zone" for children 4 years old through 4th grade. A "Back To School Bash" will also be held Friday, August 17 from 6-8 pm for families with children from 4 years to 6th grade. The event will include free dinner, inflatables and worship. Central Rewind – UCO Homecoming Coming Soon

Watch for details of the University of Central Oklahoma's upcoming Homecoming festivities. The 2007 Homecoming "Central Rewind" will be held September 16 through September 22 and will include a tailgate party, parade, 5K run, Unity Fest, the Alumni recognition Ceremony.
