CITIZENS BANK OPENS NEW LOCATION
Citizens Bank of Edmond is starting the new year off with the opening of their new location at the corner of Kelly and Covell. This 3000 square foot full-service facility has 4 drive-in lanes (including a commercial lane) and a lobby with 4 teller stations. Their staff provides an array of services, including lending and opening new accounts. Citizens Bank has been a part of the community for over 100 years and has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years. Watch for their grand opening later this month.

LAKE ARCADIA EAGLE WATCH
Keep your eyes on the sky this January…then grab your hat, scarf and gloves and soar to Lake Arcadia for the annual Eagle Watch. Witness our majestic national bird, the Bald Eagle, display their grace and beauty as they enjoy their winter home in Edmond. Bald Eagles visit the lake every year. They normally arrive in November and stay until mid-March. The eagles enjoy Oklahoma’s mild winter and lakes full of fish! You can experience the Eagles every Friday thru Saturday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. For more information call 216-7470

BENEFIT ART AUCTION
Treat your home to a new piece of art and give to a good cause at the same time! Make plans to attend the live auction at the Silhouette Event Center, 3601 S. Broadway (behind Shorty Smalls) on Friday, January 27 at 7 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the Edmond Senior Community Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to develop an endowment which will enhance programs and services that accommodate and meet the needs of senior adults in the Edmond Community. Art will come from Ross Galleries, New York, and feature original oils, watercolors, lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, sports and music memorabilia. BULLNANZA AT THE LAZY E
BULLNANZA is back and better than ever with a tribute to Freckles Brown and Lane Frost. Lazy E Productions will host the return of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Xtreme Bulls Tour January 13-14 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. This action packed event brings together the top 50 bull riders in the world to compete against the best bucking bulls in pro rodeo, with a total of $100,000 up for grabs. Lt. Governor Mary Fallin will be the key speaker at this month’s Edmond Chamber of Commerce Women’s Network Breakfast. This month’s event will be held Thursday, January 26 and is being sponsored by Bank of America. The breakfast is held every month (except Oct/Dec) on the fourth Thursdayfrom 8:00am-9:00am at the University of Central Oklahoma.
