NP2Go began in September 2019 with a suitcase, a small Honda, and a simple idea: healthcare could be more convenient, personal, and accessible. Founder and CEO Kara De La Pena, APRN-CNP, saw patients visiting emergency rooms for needs such as migraine treatment, fluids, and food poisoning, so began asking whether some of that care could be delivered differently.

At a time when more healthcare interactions are becoming automated, NP2Go remains committed to giving patients access to real people and real providers. Patients can call or text the nurse line seven days a week and speak directly with a real nurse. The line receives more than 70,000 texts each month. Calls, texts, and emails are always handled by people rather than AI or bots. The company also emphasizes transparent and clear pricing, so patients understand costs before receiving care.
