Celebrating 11/11/11

When local twin sisters Jamie and Megan Potter discovered 11.11.11 was
occurring this year, they marked it on their calendars and made sure they’d
spend it together. The number 11 has always shared a special meaning for them.
On June 11th, the year they turned eleven, this number became significant.
Not only was it their golden birthday, but after enjoying a wonderful
celebration with family and friends, they were blessed with a double rainbow!
As they lay in their twin beds that night, before falling asleep, they each put
their pointer fingers on the clock as it read 11:11 and made wishes for each
other. Fourteen years later, they still catch 11:11 on the clock and say
prayers for the other twin. The sisters have made special plans for tonight…and
you guessed it – when the clock reads 11:11 p.m., they’ll be saying a special
prayer.

Happy 11/11/11 everyone!
