“If Purses Were Wishes” is the theme of this year’s Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma’s inaugural wish luncheon. The luncheon will be held May 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the historic Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City. The purpose of the event is to raise money to grant wishes to Oklahoma children with life-threatening medical conditions. Purses were donated from the wives of several OSU coaches’ and university presidents, Toby Keith’s wife, Kim Henry and Mary Fallin and will be auctioned off at the event.
