Be Ready for Life: Summer Advance 2009
The Oklahoma Family Center for Autism and the Edmond Family Center for Autism are offering a program specifically designed to help improve long-term outcomes for teens and young adults affected by autism. The program, “Be Ready for Life: Summer Advance 2009,” will be held on Monday, June 22 at Cheyenne Middle School from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. There is also an additional 4-day application workshop for teachers and professionals June 23 – June 26. Celebrating 20 years of Excellence

LibertyFest 2009
Edmond’s LibertyFest features 11 different events to electrify, entertain and dazzle its audience. The festival kicks off with a Concert In the Park on Thursday, June 25 at 7:30 p.m. Other events include a car show, synchronized and lighted kite festival, rodeo, food festival, road rally, fun family chalk event, 4th of July parade, beauty pageant, family celebration in the park and the customary explosion of patriotic glory.  CNN and USA Today put LibertyFest on the Top 10 places to be on the 4th of July!
