A LOOK Back: Edmond’s First Swimming Pool 

Edmond’s first swimming pool was located on the campus of what was then the Central State Normal School (now UCO) behind Old North. Built by the manual training class at the Campus School, the concrete and stone pool was immediately a popular attraction when it was constructed in 1915. The pool also had a large slide and changing rooms. This was the only pool in Edmond until the Seymour Pool opened at 5th & Boulevard in 1924.
