The University of Central Oklahoma Small Business Development Center’s “Nuts and Bolts” workshop on April 14 will be held at the Edmond Chamber of Commerce located at 825 E. 2nd in Edmond and will present participants with important things to know about starting a business, including everything from legal structure to permits to getting set up to take credit cards, hire employees, insurance needs and more. Cost is $39 to attend.

PAC is hosting their 35th anniversary celebration Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Oklahoma History Center. The celebration will kick off with a silent auction and cocktail party that will begin at 6:00 PM. Dinner and the program will begin at 7:00 PM. Walk A Mile In My Shoes is a community walk created to bring an awareness to the need for foster families, adoptive families, volunteers in the community to mentor children, give foster families a time to rest and to offer many different ways to get involved in "defending the fatherless". We hope that you can join us in bringing light to our community about the number of children who are in the system and how we, as the body of Christ, can defend these children who so much deserve the love and support that each one of us can offer.
