May Sales Tax Revenue Is Up for Edmond

Edmond showed a 3.47 percent increase in its sales tax check for May, compared to the amount in May 2009. Sales tax collections for the period were $3,523,179, compared to $3,404,942 for the same period in 2009.
"It's really good news for us," said Edmond Finance Director Ross
VanderHamm. "It's literally the first month out of 11 months this fiscal
year that we were above last year's amount."
